State License Board. As a consumer, you must make sure that the
license appears on the contract (if appears) is valid. Contractors
with no license might offer you a lower bid. We would suggest you
to consider the consequences you may face in case of an accident
in your premise.

Why is it so important for the contractor to have insurance?
A: Insurance is necessary
in case of propery damage or an accident. Contractors are required
by law, to have insurnce and workers' compensation for these cases.
If your contractor does not have it, your homeowner insurance policy
might be your contructor liablity coverage.

with local building codes. Bonds do not assure the financial or
